Terms of Use
Last updated: October 20, 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") cover your use of emberandamp.com (the "site"). The site is operated by Ember and Amp, doing business as Ember & Amp ("Ember & Amp," "we," "us"). By using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
What the guides are
The guides are general information about outdoor tech. They are not professional, electrical, safety, medical, legal, or emergency advice. We research products using manufacturer-published information and cited independent reviews. Unless a guide says otherwise, we have not tested the products ourselves.
Safety: follow your manual
Many products we cover store or move a lot of electrical energy, including power stations, solar panels, batteries, cables, and adapters. Always follow the manufacturer's manual and safety instructions. Never exceed a device's rated input or output limits. If you're unsure, contact the manufacturer or a qualified professional. You are responsible for how you choose, connect, and use any product.
Affiliate links
Some links on the site may be affiliate links. If you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Buying through a link is always optional. Prices, availability, warranties, returns, and the sale itself are set by the seller, not by us. We are not the seller of any product mentioned on the site. See our affiliate disclosure.
Prices and accuracy
Prices and specs change, especially around sales events. Each guide says when its prices were checked. We try to keep things accurate, but we can't guarantee that every price, spec, or availability note is current or error-free. Always check the seller's live listing before you buy. If you spot an error, email us and we'll review it.
Third-party sites
Links take you to sites we don't control. Their content, products, and privacy practices are their responsibility, governed by their own terms and policies.
License to use the site
You may view the site and share links to any page for your personal, non-commercial use. Unless we say otherwise, the Ember & Amp name, logo, and original text, images, and design on the site belong to Ember & Amp. You may not copy, republish, sell, or create derivative works from substantial parts of the site, or present our guides as your own, without our written permission. Short quotes with a link back to the source page are welcome. Product names and trademarks belong to their respective owners, and mentioning them doesn't imply endorsement by or affiliation with those owners.
Acceptable use
Please don't interfere with the site's operation, try to gain unauthorized access to it, or scrape it in a way that burdens it.
No warranty
The site and everything on it are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. That includes, to the extent the law allows, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. Your use of the site and your reliance on its content are at your own risk.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ember & Amp will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages. Nor will we be liable for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or property, or for personal injury, arising from or related to: (i) your use of, or inability to use, the site; (ii) any product or service you buy or use after visiting the site, including from a seller we link to; (iii) the statements or conduct of any third party; or (iv) any other matter relating to the site. This applies whether the claim is based on contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain warranty exclusions or liability limits, so some of the above may not apply to you.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to these Terms or the site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Washington, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

If you believe content on the site infringes your copyright, email [email protected] with the page URL and a description of the work.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our not enforcing a provision isn't a waiver of it.
