Who we are

emberandamp.com (the "site") is operated by Ember and Amp, a sole proprietorship based in Washington State, USA, doing business as Ember & Amp ("we," "us").

What this site is

Ember & Amp is a static content website. It has no user accounts, no comments, and no checkout, so we don't sell anything on the site. The site's contact link doesn't submit anything to our servers; it opens your own email app.

Information we collect

We don't run analytics or advertising tools on this site, and the site doesn't set its own cookies.

Email you send us. If you email [email protected], we receive your email address, the contents of your message, and any standard email metadata. We use it to reply and, when warranted, to correct the site. We keep it only as long as reasonably needed for that. Please don't send sensitive personal information.
Hosting logs. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like most hosts, Cloudflare may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser type, and the pages requested in order to deliver and secure the site. That processing is described in Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
Email routing. Email sent to [email protected] is forwarded through Cloudflare Email Routing, so Cloudflare processes that message in transit under its Privacy Policy.

We don't currently offer a newsletter. If we add one, we'll update this policy before we collect any signups. The update will name the email provider we use and explain what we collect and how to unsubscribe.

Affiliate links and third-party sites

Guides may link to retailers and manufacturers, and some of those links may be affiliate links. When you click one, the other site may set its own cookies or collect information about your visit. For example, that's how it can tell a purchase came from our link. That collection is governed by the other site's privacy policy, not this one. We don't receive your name, payment details, or what else you buy from those sites.

We use the information above only to run and secure the site and to reply to you. We don't sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the site, our rights, or others' safety.

Children

The site is a general-audience site and isn't directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has emailed us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Your choices

You can ask us to access or delete any email correspondence you've sent us by writing to [email protected]. You can also block or clear cookies set by third-party sites in your browser settings.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
